Excellent mid-range tablet

User Rating: 8

The tablet far exceeds it’s price in what it can achieve. It isn’t going to beat some of the $500+ windows tablets but it definitely holds its own. The Windows experience is generally of a very high standard and the Android experience is more than passable, although the wifi does need some getting used to.

The detachable keyboard is fantastic. Very response and once you remove the Window’s short cut keys it is great to use – definitely adding to the overall quality you get from this little package. You can either sling it around whilst on the go as a tablet or move it into a much more efficient laptop/netbook.

I’ve played Civ5 in windows with more than a passable experience and most FPS in Android work smoothly.

The screen is well detailed and decent level of colour, however it could definitely do with being brighter.

Speaker quality is OK – definitely lacking in the bass department but this is <$200! You can’t expect everything. More than loud enough for use at home and the general delivery of the sound is good.

The USB’s on the keyboard dock are definitely a nice addition  – as is the Micro HDMI on the main tablet. Would have been nice to get a fast-charge on the tablet, but again this was<$200 for the tablet and dock when I bought it!

It isn’t the sexiest of machines – but that isn’t what it’s aiming to be. It’s got a great build quality, great spec (for its price) and great productivity potential.
