Good specs, bad stability

User Rating: 3

When I received it, everything was OK till the moment to power it on. The computer did a first blue screen during the Windows 10 installation. After that for the next 3 days, with all the updates done, I had 10 blue screen a day. I did a fresh install of Windows 10 in case the issue would come from the BMAX image, it was better but still regular blue screen. I looked onto the forums to see if I was the only one to have this issue, some sort of bad luck about this specific laptop, but unfortunately other person did have the same issue with this computer. Some even tried Linux but it didn’t fix the issue. It could be the hard drive, the memory, who knows. It’s a shame for a so appealing product, hope the next gen will be better. For now, I did open a request 3 weeks ago onto Aliexpress to send it back and have it reimbursed, but the seller doesn’t answer to my questions, requests!

  1. You have my agreement. Just a few months ago, I also purchased Y13 Pro and had the exact same problems. Several bluescreens appear right from the start. After attempting to boot from a Linux live USB, the system eventually stopped responding. It appears to be an issue relating to HW.

  2. Good specs, bad stability perfectly encapsulates the frustration of having well-written assignments marred by overlooked errors. It’s like having a high-performance car with a faulty engine. That’s where assignment editing proofreading come in. While the content may be impressive, ensuring its stability through meticulous editing and proofreading is crucial for a flawless final product. Don’t let small errors undermine your hard work. Invest in professional editing and proofreading services to ensure your assignments shine as brightly as their specifications promise.

  3. Hi Julien. I have to agree with you. I bought Y13 Pro few months ago and experienced same issues. Multiple bluescreens from day one. I tried boot from linux live usb, but system stopped responding after some time. So it looks like HW related issue. There is no BMAX support in my point of view. Very bad experience. I will definitely spend more time checking user reviews next time.
