These devices couldn’t be more terrible, and for only a few dollars more you can get something significantly better. I ordered two Kindows the day they released, and unfortunately it’s just been nothing but a headache.
- All four corners of each Kindow are bent in and not flush.

- The first Kindow had a scratched screen out of the box.

- The first Kindow would only charge part way, and only with a 5V 2.5A charger, only when powered off, and it only lasts about 60 minutes on a charge.
- The second Kindow died within a few hours of use, literally between levels of Where’s My Water. It was working when I put it to sleep and set it down, and then it wasn’t the next time I picked it up.
- After it died, you couldn’t even turn it off, I had to let the battery drain.
- The temperature on the back of the device reached 127 degrees Fahrenheit

- After the battery drained and it powered off, it gets hot when you charge it but will not power on.
The Kindow has tons of potential, it’s a pretty speedy device for the price and it has a very nice display. Unfortunately it’s littered with so many quality problems that you absolutely can’t rely on it for any purpose.
