Here are some images from a teardown of the Cube i7 Stylus I did in order to upgrade the 64GB SSD. I also posted a video (below) on the best way to open up the tablet. I don’t recommend doing this unless you have experience in opening up tablets and notebooks etc.
More details on the SSD upgrade here and how to open it up below.

I see a very good point about WiFi: a second unused micro coax connector! People who owns this tablet may be able to connect a second antenna. Have a try ! 🙂

I would prefer to change the WLAN hardware by this video:

I would use a 4-port USB hub, replace the Bluetooth too and try to use the other USB ports to get two full sized USB-ports on the right side.

Hello,
I have change the SSD, too.
After cloning and restart all seams to run fine. The day after I see the info, that I has to activate windows. So I try an got an error. Sme web searches later I call Microsoft to help me activate my Windows 8.1. The Answer: Contact the manufactor to send you a correct product key.
A week ago I contact Cube by this contact site: http://www.cube-tablet.com/contacts/
But no response 🙁
Has someone the same trouble and have to activate after the SSD change?
Where can I get the right product key?
Greetings from germany, Stefan.

Is there any reason why you couldn’t put in an even bigger drive such as a 500GB one?
