Chuwi has announced the Hi10 Pro. It’s yet another Atom X5 Z8300 based tablet. To me, it looks just like the Hibook? But instead of Android 5.1 and Windows 10, this unit has Windows 10 and Remix OS 2.0 (Android 5.1 base)
It has a 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 IPS screen like the Hibook, 4GB of RAM and a 64GB eMMC. The tablet also has a Type-C USB 3.0 port for data and faster 3A charging. It will be released on the 15th and retail for around $199.
The tablet has an optional metal keyboard and supports the HiPen H2 stylus, not included of course.
So the difference between this and the Hibook is stylus support and Remix OS 2.0 dual boot.

No dual-band wireless? Just basic Realtek stuff?

I dropped my Chuwi Hi12. It was a 2ft drop on to a tiled floor. No issues at all.

That was lucky, I just dropped a tripod mount on the Vi10 Plus, cracked the screen. But I think it would have cracked any screen. About the 4th tablet screen I’ve cracked in 2 months. Not good.

Do they still response 2 touch after d crack? Cos i 1s used a chinese tab: no software issue,bt any mark on d screen-even if it’s hairline- i would av 2 replace it.dumped d white elephant after d 4th attempt.

And again which is d best generally in terms on longevity: Cube,Teclast, and Chuwi. For instance,if all r dropped 4rm d same height, which of d screens would suffer d most damage.and if there’s a crack on d screen, would there be any issue about touchresponse?
Chris G
If you dropped them I would they would all be about the same. No gorilla glass. Saying that I dropped a Chuwi Hi8 and it cracked the screen. Dropped my X98 Air III, no cracks. And the Cube iwork10 Ultimate, dropped it to without any cracks. Just dents in the metal housing. But it all depends on the fall.
I rate the MFG’s here (bottom of the post) http://techtablets.com/recommended-chinese-tablets-brands/

I have a slight impression that chuwi gets ahead of teclast. Their last releases are more interesting (hi 12, vi10 plus). The quality seems to be better and better too. For me personally last releases from teclast were let downs (heat problems/build quality)

Bt i thought chuwi too has their issues

I think the Hi10 Pro here would be a better machine, it has a better keyboard dock with USB ports.
