Teclast Tbook 16 Power Nightmare

User Rating: 1

Teclast inexistent support is very disappointing and Tbook 16 Power become a nightmare.

The Processor and RAM are good enough. The 64 GB hard disk will cause you the pain of trying to work with a SD Card with this machine.

You plug the SD card and when you start working… the nightmare will haunt you! The SD will disconnet and you will start your journey. First, you won’t believe me and you go to Teclast website looking for the basics. Unless your chinese is fluent, then you will struggle navigating there. BUT, Google will give you a big hand and you will have the page translated just to find out that there is nothing there such the drivers for the machine. Then, you will trust Teclast care about their customers and will send them an e-mail describing your issue. Then, you will realize that you are by yourself.

Go to the forums and give them a chance to fix your issue.

An OTA update just prevented my Teclas Tbook 16 Power from starting on Android OS. Well, honestly, this is the last of my issues. The Andoid on the Tbook 16 Power is useless as the battery just lasts for 4 hours, max, at any of the OS (Windows or Android).

The screen, audio and back camera… well, I was not expecting something exactly good. They are as bad as I expected!

BUT, other 2 major disappointments: 1) Track Pad: althougb the keyboard is REALLY VERY NICE and comfortable for typing, the track pad is a disaster! It will fail you when moving around. Also, will minimize screens… yes, I sound like a old fat lazy man trying to get introduced to Windows! That’s my experience with the track pad. Am I exagerating? Have yourself your experience and then you tell me. 2) Pen: I bought it as an accessory thinking it would be minimally pressure sensitive. It is not! Honestly? Useless!

Good lucky, guys, with the Teclast Tbook 16 Power. Really hope your experience may be MUCH better than mine.

I am disappoined because the machine has a lot of potential. But the built in HD, the Sd thing, the support, the track pad… they are joy killer.

  1. Hi

Did you managed to solve all that problems?
I got all that issues and the support is basically zero.
Have you managed to install the drivers supplied here?
