Teclast has released their X16 Power and X16 Pro Windows 10 “Universal Edition” image, which I take it must be an international image with English and Chinese.
According to one Aliexpress seller I talked to, it was Chinese Windows 10 only the X16, so this must be the Int’l Win 10 image, handy for those that have ordered Teclast’s new X16 Pro or Power to only find it in Chinese only.
The download is via Baidu cloud which is a nightmare to download from. You’ll need an account on Baidu and download speeds for me are in the Kb’s region. Impossibly slow, I’ve given up for now trying to download and mirror this one.

In case anyone needs these, I was able to download them. I can’t put them on google drive as they get closed due to the use policy. I’ll leave them out in this drop box account for a little while if you want to download them. Any good ideas on where I can stick them for public access that they won’t get removed?

Hey, we have gotten the images posted to the X16 downloads page. The images are the original Chinese and English. I have not checked if it can be set to any other languages.

I just downloaded them from the Baidu site he listed in the article. I had a good download rate and no problems with the files.

OK, now it gets weird. I went back to the baidu site and got a totally different popup for login. I don’t know if they are tracking downloads and first one is free or something else but it needs an ID and password. I cant read it because google translate doesn’t read the pop up screen and buttons.

One last note at this time. The file I got downloaded earlier was not a zip of the desired files but baidu’s download client. Apparently, you have to have a full account which requires a mainland Chinese mobile phone to get a text for account verification.

No, I just use the restore function on my Tablet to re-install Windows 10 in French directly 😉

Bonjour Grégoire, j’ai fait une mise à jour samedi de windows sur ma teclast x16 power et c’est la catastrophe depuis. Je n’ai plus de windows. IMpossible de le démarrer, la tablette me demande d’insérer le bon disque externe mais la sauvegarde de l’ancien système s’est mal faite et du coup même en branchant le disque, la tablette ne parvient pas à démarrer.
Je ne sais plus comment faire.
Peux-tu m’aider à refaire une installe propre ou à récupérer mon système?

salut, tu devrais regarder le sujet sur comment installer Windows 10 pro, il suffi d’avoir une clef USB et d’aller sur le site de microsoft pour charger le logiciel d’installation de windows via Clef USB. Ensuite tu boot sur la clef et tu reinstalle windows 10 home directement en français.
Moi j’ai juste utiliser la fonction de windows “restore” en fait.

Je crois que la version de windows installée dans la tablette est endommagée et elle ne me permet pas de faire une récupération.
J’ai enfin pu télécharger l’image du site techtablet.
Je regarderai ce soir pour voir si la tablette arrive à booter dessus.
