Vido W10 Elite Version – Another Surface 3 Clone

Vido W10 Elite Version – Another Surface 3 Clone

This one grabbed my attention, not another new Atom X5 Z8300 tablet – oh no… But something with a bit more power. A 10.1 inch OGS 1920 x 1200 tablet powered by an Atom X7 Z8700, 4GB of dual channel RAM, stylus support, USB type-c, wireless AC, kickstand, and 128GB eMMC. It ticks all the boxes specs wise  similar to the Surface 3, in fact on of the press images looks like a MS Surface 3?

So no idea on the stylus tech, hopefully, 256 level active type as used in the HiBook and iwork10 Ultimate. Any interest in this one?

Gearbest has it listed here for $391 on preorder. A bit pricey considering you can get a Core M3 for this. Let’s hope the price drops drastically.

  1. There’s only like a 10% improvement between an X5 and an x7 and besides Atom are really really terrible to begin with.

  2. Does anyone know why no Dual Boot tablets, at the moment, are using the Atom X7 Z8700 or the Core M chips? Is it likely to do with cost or software working with these chips?

  3. Wile I do believe that these tablets are near useless without a kick stand (I should not have to have the expensive keyboard to make it stand up on it’s own), that’s still too pricey.

  4. I like the look of it. Price definitely has to change for what’s being offered. Be curious to wait and see what everything looks like when it’s released. Is the keyboard and stylus included? I’ve been looking for a 10.1/10.6″ tablet with the type style keyboard instead of the transformer style.

  5. I agree. Seems like a product release blunder at that price. Everyone will skip it for a Core-M device.
