Xiaomi Mi Max Up Now Up For Preorder For $229

Mi Max GPS

The Xiaomi Mi Max an almost tablet of a mobile with a 6.44″ screen is now up for preorder on Banggood. First 50 orders get it for $229. It’s got a 1080p screen, 3GB of RAM, 32GB ROM, 16MP Samsung ISOCELL rear camera and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Hexacore CPU. I’ve reviewed this one myself if you missed it here is the video review below. The Mi Max listing on Banggood.com is here.

Edit: Thanks, Vernal. This slipped by me, turns out it’s the 16GB version with 2GB of RAM and not 3GB of RAM. I had no idea they had released a 2GB model. Gearbest has the 32GB model here.

  1. Oooops. I’m sorry – it’s http://www.wilmyphonework,net .

  2. I have a question – I pre-ordered the 128 GB version on Gearbest for $335 (with coupon). I live in the U.S. I have seen some conflicting spec sheets and would ask you since you are EXTEREMLY tech savvy, Chris…..do you believe this phone will work with Sprint in the US? I checked on http://www.willmyphone.net – and the web site said yes (the Max supports CDMA frequencies which is Sprint in the US). I can’t seem to get a definitive anwer from even Sprint. What do you think? Would you look into it for me? I believe many others in the US who follow your page would be super interested.

    • Oh crap, I missed that. Working too late editing my LeEco LE 2 Review. Never knew they had this 2GB version. It should be okay, but I would get the 3GB one.
