Teclast P10 – 10.1″ Octa-Core Android 7.1 Tablet For $110

Teclast’s Master T10 turned out to be a very good tablet and there is this P10 Octa core that I missed till now. This one looks like a budget version, it has a 10.1″ screen like the Master T10. However, the resolution is 1920 x 1200, not the 2560 x 1600 on the T10. But this resolution suits the Rockchip RK3368 Octa-Core powering the tablet and its SG6110 GPU.

The build weighs 520 grams it has a full metal build.

It has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC 4.5 storage. And the usual spec, dual-band wireless, microSD card slot, USB 2.0, D/C charging 2MP & 5MP cameras. The best part is it’s running Android 7.1 and the ROM looks stock with only 2 Teclast applications? And it’s only $110 with coupon 991977 over at Banggood.com

I’ve ordered one of these for review, so hopefully should have it in around 2 weeks. Be interesting to see if it’s good for the price, I’ve not tested this chipset out. But if it can game well and the build is good, might be a great budget tablet?

Chinese tablet news, hands on videos and reviews of the latest Chinese tablets. I don’t review or cover just anything, only tablets I think are good enough and worth the attention.

  1. I guess no digital compass…..?

    • Nope ,the Lenovo P8 is the only one I’ve tested with GPS & Compass

  2. Hi Chris. If you get a chance test if the latest version of Ubuntu (v17.10) works on it or not. It has a new touchscreen optimized UI/desktop (Gnome 3.0) and uses a very recent Linux kernel (4.13). Linux supposedly run on Rockchip CPU’s. cheers, -Brad-

    • I guess I should have prefaced with the question, does it have an open BIOS allowing to boot from USB?

    • eck! scratch that. It’s an ARM processor so I suppose one would have to compile the kernel for it to run.
