Voyo’s most powerful mini PC the Voyo V3 has been announced, it’s got the top of line Atom X7 Z8700 (2.4Ghz) with 4GB of RAM. With a large 128GB SSD (must be eMMC as Atom don’t support SSD?) and even a USB Type-C port. The Voyo V3 is running Windows 10 home.

Other specs include Wireless AC and 2 x USB 3.0 ports in a slim 9.9 metal housing. For this kind of spec it’s not going to be cheap. Gearbest has it on preorder for $218 with coupon GBV3 the price drops to 211.99.

  8. It will be a good and true smart tv. The only question is if it will have thermal throttling?

    • It might, the Surface 3 I had got to 85 degrees. Just a few degrees off from throttling itself and it has the same Atom X7 Z8700 in it.

  9. Been playing disney-infinity with core M. Game keeps exiting for some reason during heavy load. Wonder if 8700 will do better with those graphics updates

    • Doubt it, the Core M is more powerful than any Atom. Crashing like that could be it’s overheating or a driver issue.

      • Yeah… It gets really hot there.
        I guess wait for next gen core M then.
