Onda is at the Computex 2015 trade show in Taiwan and they are apparently showing the Onda V919 Core M iPad clone according to this Weibo post. But unfortunately, no images or further info, I’m crawling the web looking for any images or info and draw blanks here. Be interesting it see if it’s going to be thicker than the V919 Bay Trail model or use the same chassis (I hope not) If and ...[Read More]
I received my Chuwi Vi10 keyboard in record time from China, only 10 days via PostNL. Not bad at all, I was trying to get hold of one when I brought the Vi10, but at the time no seller had this in stock. The keyboard is around $30 and if you buy it with the Chuwi Vi10 normally you can get it much cheaper than this as a bundle, around $15-$20. If you can do this I recommend getting it the sa...[Read More]
Chuwi have updated the Vi8 for the 3rd time now, with the release of the Chuwi Vi8 Ultimate Edition. Aiming for the best budget 8 inch dual boot it seems, gone is the Atom Z3635F 1.8Ghz, replaced with a slightly faster Atom Z3736F 2.16Ghz SoC. The housing is now similar to the Vi10 And V10HD with a glass back, metal trims making it more premium looking and Chuwi claim it’s a thin 7.9 mm. Als...[Read More]

Asus have today announced the Transformer Book T100HA, its the successor to the T100ta Bay Trail 2 in 1. The new T100HA will use a Cherry Trail Atom X5, which I imagine would be the x5-Z8300 version which is similar to the Z3735F in terms of CPU power and about 35-40% faster GPU wise. It has a very similar looking keyboard to the T100TA and USB Type C. And it looks like Asus have done an Apple and...[Read More]
I’ve just wrapped up my review of the new Chuwi Vi10 Dual Boot 10.6 inch tablet. Not a bad tablet,I like the fact it has two full sized USB ports, it does come in handy. The screen is a little bit of a let down at 1366 x 768, but it still looks sharp enough at least in Windows. To get the full pros and cons of this tablet, check out my detailed Chuwi Vi10 Dual OS Review See our forum for Chu...[Read More]

Another tablet review completed, the Cube iwork8 3G. This entry level 8 inch tablet could just be the best one out of the Teclast X80H, Pipo W4S and Chuwi Vi8 I have reviewed so far. Like the other 3 reviewed they have their pros and cons. But the iwork8 is the only one that has 3G support, unfortunately only in Android! Still for those with good data plans and what an 8 inch tablet it’s wor...[Read More]
The Cube iwork8 3G Dual OS is an updated version of the Cube iwork8. Now sporting a micro sim slot and 3G 900Mhz/2100Mhz modem and a large capacity battery. The original iwork8 had only a 3500mAH battery which just wasn’t enough, Cube corrected this error and opted for a larger 5000mAH battery. Android 4.4.4 and Windows 8.1 Bing are the installed operating systems on this entry level tablet....[Read More]
