My Vbook V3 Apollo Lake N4200 arrived a few days ago, here the unboxing video with a detailed first look at the Voyo Vbook V3 in action. So far the speed of it is great, dual channel 1600mhz RAM + N4200 2,5Ghz and 128GB SSD means it feels quick and snappy, the keyboard however, hasn’t improved from the Core M3 version I reviewed and the Atom model. The keyboard has some bounce and flex, feel...[Read More]
Tomorrow I should receive my Teclast X5 Pro. A very promising looking Core M3-7Y30 2-in-1 with a very Surface Pro 4 like design, kickstand, type cover, 12-inches with front facing speakers. And the Chuwi Hibox-Hero, Chuwi’s first mini PC powered by and Atom X5 8350. I’ve got the following on the go for those interested: Reviews will be a little slower than normal. The Vbook line from Voyo gets an upgrade to the new Apollo lake Pentium N4200 in the Vbook V3. This is a 13.3″ “Yoga” style notebook with a 360-degree hinge. I’ve looked at this design before and it’s very similar to the Lenovo Yoga 2 style of notebook. You can use it like a thick heavy tablet with the keyboard flipped back in presentation mode, or tent mode. The 13.3...[Read More]
Voyo’s vBook v3 is a larger version of the Onda oBook 11 I reviewed. Unfortunately, it shares the same issues. The screen high pitch whine noise, USB 3 port issues and a new one. Trouble waking from sleep. While the price wasn’t bad at $232 (Was on special offer, plus some rather expensive postage) I don’t think it’s worth it unless Voyo fix these issues. Sure the build is ...[Read More]
This arrived yesterday, one of only two items that made the Chinese Spring Festival close down 2th to 14th most sellers have. It’s like the Onda oBook 11 I reviewed, but a larger 13.3 inches. It’s a shameless Lenovo Yogo 2 clone that doesn’t hide the fact. Looks very similar and copies that 360-degree hinge. It must be made by the same ODM as the oBook 11. Only recently Voyo anno...[Read More]
Voyo’s Yoga 2 clone, the VBook V3 is currently on sale over at Gearbest for $232.70. It’s limited to just 50 units. The VBook V3, is similar to the Onda oBook I’m currently checking out. It’s powered by an Atom X5 Z8300 quad-core, unlike the 11″ oBook this model has 4GB of ram and a larger 64GB eMMC. Which is just as well as the oBook has only 14GB of free space on fi...[Read More]
