Cube iwork11 Stylus Atom X5 Z8300 Tablet With Wacom Stylus Support

Cube iwork11 Stylus Atom X5 Z8300 Tablet With Wacom Stylus Support

Edit: Hands on with the iwork11 Stylus: http://techtablets.com/2015/11/cube-iwork11-stylus-x5-z8300-unboxing-and-hands-on/

Cube are back with a new Cherry Trail release, and I think a lot of you stylus users are going to like this one. The Cube iwork11 is basically the i7 Stylus and keyboard with a new Atom X5 Z8300 SoC and it retains all the good things about the i7 Stylus, same housing, build, keyboard, screen and 4GB of Ram.  Best of all it has a Wacom stylus with 1024 pressure levels is onboard.

Other specs include:

  • 64GB eMMC
  • 4GB LPDDR3 Ram
  • Windows 10
  • Wireless N / BT.40
  • 10.6″ 920 x 1080 AUO screen with Wacom digitizer
  • Optional keyboard dock with 2 x USB ports and stylus holder
  • MicroSD card slot
  • Micro HDMI, upto 4k 30hz output
  • MircoUSB 3.0 port

It looks to be due for release tomorrow at 10:00 pm according to their Weibo post.  Priced at 1399 yuan in China which is about $230 USD it’s not the cheapest Atom tablet, but you do get Wacom stylus support. The keyboard will be extra of course and you can also get it now since it’s just the i7 Stylus one. Cubes quality has been great so I look forward to reviewing this one if the i7 Stylus is anything to go by this should be a decent tablet.

I will do my best to review this, but with so many new tablets all due for release all around the same time (Mid to late Nov, early Dec) I simply can’t afford to buy and review everything.

Cube, if you’re reading this. Please get in touch, I have sent you emails, but haven’t received a reply from you.

I have been looking for a dual boot, keyboard, USB OTG and charging, with GPS navigation for quite a while. Gearbest.com is advertising the Cube iWork 11 as having a GPS now and doing navigation. Does anyone here have experience with this in Android and using it for navigation? What may have changed?

  2. Very Impressive features, CH, 4GB, wacom stylus, keyboard dock that ail i want, except for dual boot.
Is there possibility for supporting dual boot?

  3. One Problem… The new iwork11 just got 2gb Ram :/
So maybe the i7 Stylus is still a better solution?
    I already thought 4gb ram is insufficient…

  4. That`s great 🙂 I want to know how it performs 😉
    Can we exchange the eMMC?

  5. Why a 64gb emmc and not a ssd damn 🙁

  6. Hey, Chris, why don’t you start selling your old stuff? Me personally, I’d like to buy some tech you’ve already reviewed and don’t really need since you have tons of similar tablets. This way you’ll have some free cash to get new toys.

  7. Hey chris I think gearbest sends free hardware for reviewers. Just click on “Make Money” button. It’s for professionals and I think you are quite good.

  8. Wow, I really didn’t expect to see any more tablets with Micro USB 3.0. Major fail, Cube.

    • Yeah, not good. I want to see more full sized ports. It just means carrying around the OTG adapter will you all the time which is a pain. But at least it has two full sized usb 2.0 ports in the keyboard dock.
