FYI, I and another family member had to cancel our X98 Pro Dual orders on Gearbest because they couldn’t give a delivery date and had been sitting on our initial order for weeks. In addition, as mentioned by others, while we waited the “special” price we got started to erode a few dollars at a time. 1) if they can’t give us a deliver date, they don’t have it, and don’t really know when they will, and 2) screwing with the price after putting time restrictions on pre-order commitments plain sucks.
Gearbest must’ve been reading the chapter on how – exactly – to piss off a customer. First, don’t deliver, don’t communicate why, and then offer a better price for new orders while your current customers wait in the darkness.

Yes they handled this one really bad. Normally they are good and have been in the past for me. I wanted it quick to review on the site here. But after 3 weeks of waiting I canceled of course. Hi everybody,
This week, I knew Teclast has a new X98 PRO international version different to the sold one from China. They closed a new International version for EU specially. So, it looks like, they will have 2 international versions. They will launch the new one on Sept 27Th and this new version has not Chinese apks, it has new apks, several new free accesories what I do not know yet, European warranty,…. I work in a media in EU and we received it. They will sell from Spain to EU (teclast.es) as I can see on teclast.com. Upon my point of view, this step from Teclast is very, very interesting for EU people. I will pay attention to teclast.es in order to see the new presale.

“I am sorry that I have checked that the item in your order is really hot sale,the supplier can not send the item to us on time,it need about 1-2 weeks be in the stock,after the item be in the stock,we will arrange the shipment for you soon,could you please wait for it?”

Hi everyone, I noticed that Gearbest lists the Android OS as being 5.0 while Teclast officially ‘claims’ 5.1. I asked Gearbest about it and got the below response, can anyone confirm the Android OS on this device?
Here is the answer from Our Customer service Team: “Hi Alon, according to the specification on official website, this item is with Android 5.1. After our related technical colleagues confirmed, this item is actually installed Android 5.0. And I am sorry that we can not confirm the overheating problems fixed or not for now. I know it’s a stupid. I hate it how they put regular price’s as twice the amount it’s just a marketing thing. It’s like when big stores have sales, 20% off. Just before the sale the prices are marked up 15%, so you are only saving 5%.
