Cube iwork10 Ultimate & Keyboard Dock Now Out

Cube iwork10 Ultimate & Keyboard Dock Now Out

Cube’s new Windows 10 Asus Transformer Book style tablet the iwork10 Ultimate is now out and in stock at Banggood.com. It’s got the same specs as the Hi10, an Atom X5 Z8300, 4GB of Ram, Windows 10 Home 64bit, 64GB eMMC and a 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 resolution IPS panel. It could even be the same IPS panel Chuwi uses, which wouldn’t be a bad thing. Often manufacturers source their panels from the same companies.

It has Wireless N, HDMI out, MicroSD card slot,  USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. The design is similar to the Cube i7 Stylus and yes, it does support an active stylus. Something the Chuwi Hi10 doesn’t for those that need a stylus.

The iwork10 Ultimate also has an optional aluminum keyboard dock with two USB 2.0 ports either side. Which looks like it could be better than the Hi10’s plastic docking keyboard. But unlike the Hi10 the Cube iwork10 Ultimate doesn’t have a full-sized USB 2.0 or 3.0 port on the tablet itself, just a micro USB 3.0 one which is a shame. So you’ll have to use the included MicroUSB 3 to full sized adapter and have to carry it around with you.

The tablet itself is $204 and the keyboard dock an extra $63. It’s more expensive than the Chuwi Hi10, but knowing Cube the build quality and materials should be better. I’ll see if I can get hold of one to review.

  1. Hi, can I use Cube I work 10 ultimate Keyboard for CUBE i7 Stylus?

  2. Will the keyboard work with the Cube i7 Stylus tablet? It looks to be the same pinouts, and the bigger size would just give it a little more overlap. I really like this keyboard over the magnetic Cube i7 Stylus style.

  3. Mine arrives tomorrow complete with the keyboard and I want to get the pen for it, but I’m still not sure which one it supports 🙁
Any suggestions on which stylus I should order on Amazon/eBay…?

  4. why are keyboard so costly, when they make tablets for a good price ?

  5. They can call me when update the tablet with dual boot 🙁

No dual boot for hi10 and no dual boot for Iwork10… 🙁

    • Dualboot is silly… It wastes storage space. It’s better to have windows and you can use amiduos on top of it to have Android. Windows is the most versatile and powerful platform.

      • Thats your opinion based on your needs.
I prefer to use a mobile OS created to be used on a small touch screen with a good notification system and A LOT of apps developed to be used on a snmall touch screen.

Waste of space? You know about microsd cards, right?
What do you need on a tablet? Your entire multimedia library? And that 6gb of Android breaks your planning of downloading a 48gb fullbluray movie file?

        • What I’m saying is – it’s much more elegant to have only windows and not multiple partitions for OSes that you might or might not need… If you have windows, you can virtualize any mobile or desktop OS on it. Google amiduos, it’s great, fast and free… You can run anything on top of Windows 10, but you are limited if you have only a mobile OS like Android (you can’t run Windows on Android lol). And, 10 inches should be ok to use full desktop apps, especially if you use a stylus.
And no, of course I would keep my multimedia on an SD card, but for a Windows system it’s easy to fill 64GB quickly with just a few applications, or a game or two, it’s not practical to run those from an SD card because of speed. Just the hibernation file and virtual memory take a big chunk.
But yeah, I agree, everyone has specific needs, that was just my opinion.

  6. According to gearbest website the is another iwork 10 model with 2 full sized USB (1×2.0 and 1×3.0) but its a shame its the low resolution version (1280×800 screen) with only 2/32 Gb. Couriously the battery is increased to 8100 mAh, although this could be a typo.

    2/32 Gb version: http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_284610.html
    4/64 Gb version: http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_280534.html

    • They forgot to add the work Micro before 1 x USB 2.0 and USB 3.0.

      • Looking at the images/renders of the lower spec iwork 10 it has actually 2 full sized usb (although none of them has 3.0 blue paint)

    • I ordered one from Gearbest, they never sent it for two weeks and I asked for a refund. I would avoid Gearbest, they are not reliable.
Now I’m waiting for cube-tablet.com to send it, pet’s hope they’re better.

  7. http://www.teclast.com/zt/kbpt/T2kb/
T2 Keyboard Dock Now Out for teclast x2 🙂

    • Do you have an image of it? That page has an error for me. How’s it different from the normal X2 keyboard?

    • Nvm, now it loads for me. It looks like the i7 Dock. Okay apart from the 1 fixed angle.

  8. There’s a video about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_bLhD5u-P8, there’s a list at 1:18, the words are all in Cyrillic letters – except for *Wacom*, in English letters, fourth line down.

    • Wacom also flashes across the bottom of the screen 37 seconds in…..

  9. As I can see from the pictures, the device has full USB3.0 port and micro USB2.0 which is also charging port. So there is a full USB port. I will wait impatiently for your review of this tablet, since I believe that Cube and Teclast are best chinese tablet manufacturers. I expect to have better device and keyboard build quality and audio than Chuwi. Hopefully eMMC will be at least as fast as Chuwi Hi10 if not better.

    • Full USB 2.0 x 2 on the dock keyboard, but I just confirmed that it’s definitely micro USB 3.0 on the tablet itself which is a bummer. Cube don’t seem to do many standard sized USB ports on the tablet itself. At least the i9 will have one.

  10. As far as I read this post correctly, it does not support wacom stylus:
    http://forum.banggood.com/forum-topic-126944.html

Where did you find out it has support?

    • No not Wacom, but an active stylus. I think similar to the Dell Venue Pro series and the Teclast X16/X2 and others.

      • Hi Chris,
I have asked to most of vendors (GearBest, BangGood, TinyDeal, AliExpress, ecc….) but no one of them has confirmed that iwork10 Ultimate supports stylus pen.
Please could you kindly elaborate on this aspect enigmatic?
        Many thanks.

  11. The following question does (not) concern this specific tablet model:
Does the installed Windows 10 OS support the German language (multilingual) by default if it isn´t mentioned concretely on the website (bannggood.com)?
If not, do I risk to loose the activation by a subsequent installation of the german language pack?

    • Yes as it’s a Windows 10 Home install then it will support all the language packs and it will not void the activation at all.
