Edit: The full Cube iWork10 Ultimate Review is now online.
I’m just finishing up my written review of the Cube iWork10 Ultimate. But if you missed the YouTube videos I posted on the tablet here they are below the iWork10 Review and a comparison against the Chuwi Hi10 which is a very similar tablet. If you know how to install Play Store on this model, please let me know as I’ve tried so many Gapps installers and none of them work!

My iWork10 lasted almost 6 months. Wouldn’t power on after that. Opened and checked around, everything looked ok. Disposable.

Hi Chris, thanks for the great review and comparison. I’m currently choosing between the cube iwork10 and the chuwi hi10, but am leaning more towards the cube iwork10. My only concern is the keyboard docking magnetic strength of the cube iwork10 keyboard. Is it actually sufficient to hold the keyboard and tablet together even when holding on to just the tablet? Would appreciate your help with this. Cheers!

Hi I have the keyboard. I can assure u the keyboard is very well built with strong magnet. The keyboard will not detach if u hold the tablet.

Hello Chris @ TechTablets, i received my Cube iWork10 Dual Boot which i bought from GearBest.com i have been using it for almost a month, without any issues. Until i started downloading large apps (700 MB – 1GB) and when i went to send app to SD Cars (Which i have a 16 GB SD Card) there was no option to send app to SD Card. I have Lollipop 5.1 Android, when i go into apps, there is no tab showing apps running on SD Card, and in storage there is no option that says to format the sd card only to unmount and to erase. Please help me what is going on? Is there anyway around this or ijust wont be able to have apps on my sd card?
Thanks

Many?…some?… Me at least, are desperately waiting for them to stop the whole Z8300 with 4GB thing and bring out more Z8500 powered tablets. The Z8300 was never designed for 4GB, so a compromise has been made (single channel).
The Z8500 is around 33% faster, supports up to 8GB dual channel memory, 8GB GPU memory compared to 2GB. It’s just the next step up, not a huge cost increase, but so much better. They just keep pumping out Z8300’s though. Teclast got it right with the X98 Pro. Only I want a 16:10/9. Been waiting since xmas. Frustrating.

Hi Chris,
Great reviews. You have already posted a video about unpacking the TECLAST Tbook 11, which obviously plays in the same league as those two tablets. Have you already made some tests? when do you expect to come out with a video and/or comparison with the Cube and the Chuwi.
Thanks
Henry

Hi Chris,
I’m just finding out about dual boot tablets and looking to hopefully spend less than $200 (slightly over might be fine). Your reviews are really helpful so far. My question is, is there something I should be waiting for? I’ve been looking at the Hi8 and avoiding the Hi8 Pro due to the issues you’ve brought up. Is the difference between the Intel Gen 7 and Gen 8 GPUs significant enough to wait out the problems of the Pro or get another tablet?

Apparently Banggood is now selling the dual os version and it is the second batch. (It’s meant to have the fixes) http://www.banggood.com/Chuwi-HI8-Pro-32GB-Intel-Z8300-Quad-Core-1_84GHz-8-Inch-Dual-OS-Tablet-p-1010313.html

Thanks for that. I may look to try that one out. I guess my only other question is if you’ve heard of any other new tablets that are slated to come out in the next month or so with better hardware that might be worth waiting on?
