Chuwi Hi12 Dual OS Version Release In Two Weeks?

Chuwi Hi12 Dual OS Version Release In Two Weeks?

Banggood has the Dual OS version of the Chuwi Hi12 now listed, with a process time of 6-9 working days. So it looks as if the Chuwi Hi12 Dual Boot version is only a few weeks away from shipping out. Will the keyboard ship out before? (It still hasn’t even shipped!)

I’ve reviewed the Chuwi Hi12 Windows 10 only model and it’s one of the better tablets I’e seen this year so far.

Thanks to Przemek for pointing this one out.

  1. Would be a nice one, i wish there would be a z8500/z8700 Model and a Transformer Style Keyboard available

  2. Shame to have lost the 128GB micro SD card capability on the Hi12 dual boot iteration, but I guess we can still use OTG add ons, if needed. Anyway, this discount code provides a decent incentive at banggood.com: 60ac21

  3. Hey @Chris check out this new “Blackbook” tablet
    http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_332587.html

    – Fully Laminated display 10.1″
    – Dual Band Wifi (n)
    – Stylus support
    – Atom Z8700
    – USB Type-C Port
    – USB 3.0
    – 64GB & 128GB Storage
    – Keyboard dock

It only misses 4G really to be the “complete package”

Looks quite amazing really, not sure about the price though. Would better at 350+ in my opinion, at most.

    • Are you sure about the stylus support? It’s described as a touchscreen pen which sounds like one of those terms that they use to be deceptive while appearing to be just a bad translation.

      • If you look at the pictures, it shows it as supporting drawing and writing…

…so it should support some kind of active stylus, even if it is not a wacom one.

    • You may as well get a surface 3 at that price, QC will be 100x better.

      • Exactly, this Blackbook unknown brand is simply too expensive what it is. Better off getting the original Surface 3.

    • looks nice but hugely overpriced, I would start to consider it for ~250$, for this money you can get dell venue 10 Pro 5000

  4. is the old one also supporting dual boot. it is spezified with dual os, what this means?

    • Must mean they will soon be shipping all of them as Dual boot units?

  5. BoORD_L ·, you talk about new Hibook witch is 10,1 inch. Hi12, stylus or not, is 12 inch!

  6. What do you think.

Cancel the old order from gearbest for 205 $ and buy this for 235$ ?

I do not need a stylus but android would be nice

  7. i can’t understand the name, It is just a 10′ tablet.
I hope they will not abandon the former hi12

  8. i think it supporting Android is a typo/mistake…. It appears to be the same device only with original packaging….??!!??

  9. Stylus would be nice i see bangood say it only supports 64gb card 128gb would have been better

  10. can you elaborate on what the stylus support situation is? Do all Chuwi Hi 12’s have stylus support? Or Does this dual-os version? Or will there be a specific “Chuwi Hi12 stylus” model released (that is, a variant with a digitizer that isn’t present in existing versions).

    • I can confirm the current model doesn’t have stylus support, at least, I cannot see it in my device manager. I think the new Dual OS model is the one with stylus support. (The second release model) But Chuwi’s aren’t exactly super forthcoming with info on this.
