Teclast Tbook 10 – Extra Battery In The Keyboard

Teclast Tbook 10 – Extra Battery In The Keyboard

Here we have some more info on the Tbook 10 thanks to Gearbest’s preorder listing. The  new Tbook 10 tablet looks unbelievably slim, photoshopping it slimmer Tecalst? This tablet is a rival to the Chuwi HiBook, and Cube iwork10 Ultimate with the exactly same key specs. Atom X5 Z8300, 4GB of DDR3 Ram, 64GB eMMC. 1920 x 1200 16:10 screen and dual OS. Plus it has a rather decent looking keyboard dock.

Nothing really stands out, apart from one thing, the keyboard contains an extra battery to extend the tablets working time. It will charge the tablet until depleted. No word on the battery capacity in the press images. But if it’s a decent enough size like 4000mAh or 5000mAh that could, in theory, give the tablet another 4 hours+ of runtime. Which might give it an edge over the HiBook and Cube iwork10 Ultimate?

The Tbook 10 is listed for $189

But come on, enough with all the Atom Z8300’s it’s time for some more Z8500 and Z8700 models or even the new 2016 Atom X5 x8550 and Atom X7 8750 Atom refresh Intel has in production.

  1. Chris , wondering if you can review this keyboard and other keyboards side by side. I find keyboards do matter, no point buying the tablet with keyboard dock if not to replace laptop and standalone tablet. I have been struggling to find any good keyboard to match the MacBook or even the Logitech k811 keyboard. Even something like Logitech Keys 2 Go keyboard quality would be acceptable but I often find similarly as in cade of cheaper laptops, the tablet-keyboard combos from China have poor reputation of keyboard quality. Same goes for things like speakers. It looks like while it’s possible to make good LCD, Chinese manufacturers struggle with anything that has to do with the mechanis and product design, so I don’t expect much but at least decent quality wold be acceptable.

  2. Hi Chris,
Does this tablet support SIM card?

  3. Design looks pretty nice and I’ve seen it on sale at geekbuying already.
Are you going to make a review of it?

  4. hmm .. now on Ali/OKQI is full bundle (tablet+keyb+pen) just for 232EUR .. It is not a bad price

  5. I can not found link to buy or presell a keyboard 🙂 If you find it, please post a link.

  6. I’m waiting with some expectation for the review on this tablet.
It could have a better cpu but with that extra battery on the keyboard and if it has stylus support with palm rejection, for me it would be perfect.
Hope to see a review soon.

  7. Anyone knows if they are shipping it already?

  8. hmm ..
    +16:10 screen
    + slim, small metal body
    + stylus support
    + 6500mAh on tablet+3500mAh on keyboard
it’s pitty – only Z8300 and only one microusb port

but anyway, with tmall price about 200EUR it is very interesting competitor to iWork10

  9. 0.8cm deep an 574 grams on 10.1 device..

tjahh ‘ but it look pretty darn good, and that metal-keyboard that seems to cost around 50US could really fulfilled this package quite nice.
what up with this Tbook10 ‘ It still hasnt been sold? i notice it says 20 april as dispatch.
Checked YT and close to no videos of the device’ only an dude called muslim-gamer trying to give the expression “we at Gearbest” and posting numerous gameplay & hands on videos, ewen thow there aint any hands on in praksis and the gameplay-video-outcome doesnt seem to be funded in Z8300… nahh most of all smells like an limbo-dude trying to go as low as he can, in lack of character and scamming people to use his sharesale link, on fake performance-videos.. that just sad if thats the case..

  10. The keyboard is great!

    • Do you actually own the keyboard?
How do the keys feel compared to say a Macbook keyboard?
How is the touchpad? Could you do some serious work with it for example working on document editing. marking text in document etc..?
      Thanks

  11. And enough with Android 5.1…

  12. And maybe active stylus support?

    • Can’t confirm that as I do see an image with a pen, but is it a stylus? I think only the Cube iwork10 Ultimate supports an activate stylus.

    • Teclast itself has a Active Stylus on its official site.
