My XiaoXin Pad Pro just arrived today and will be the next tablet up for review. This is the same model I could have bought locally for 649 Euros (Obsolete rip off) from Lenovo Europe. But I decided to hold off due to the price tag. For a Snapdragon 730G 11.5″ tablet I felt it was way overpriced.
Luckily it’s also sold in China as the XiaoXin Pad Pro. Exactly the same hardware. 2560x 1600p 2k OLED Dolby Vision HDR10 screen, 6GB of RAM, super slim premium metal build, 4 x JBL with Dobly Atmos loudspeakers, 8600mah battery, 20W charging, Wifi AC, MicroSD, dual front 8MP cams with dual rear cameras 13MP and 5MP ultra.
Crazy Price difference. Import Vs local.
The only difference is this Chinese model a Chinese ROM, has No Google Play or Widevine level 1 cert. But Banggood sells it with the global ROM flashed. Which solves those two issues. And the best part it’s almost 300 euros cheaper at 323 euros! Which shows how much of a price hike Levono charge for local tech. Only my tablet has arrived, the keyboard and stylus which it supports have yet to ship but it will be sent out this week. I’ve also ordered those from Banggood rather than Lenovo Spain or Europe due to the price and I need the US layout Lenovo Spain doesn’t have.
First Impressions
The build quality is great as good as the Samsung Tab S5E or Tab S7+ super thin 5.8mm and yet it has a good-sized battery in it. The matte grey metal unibody and the paint job is perfect and looks great.
The 2560 x 1600, looks great deep blacks but not as sharp as I would have thought mostly due to the pixel arrangement. The max brightness is a claimed 350 nits and I’m seeing around 340 so close enough it’s bright but I wish it could do at least 500 nits.
So far the tablet feels quick and snappy the SD730G gets an Atutu score of about 260,000 points so it’s no Snapdragon 865. But decent enough for most tasks and it will game okay just not with the highest visual settings. 6GB of RAM is sufficient enough for this chipset.
Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ support?
It has the Global P11 Pro rom flashed with a widevine level 1 cert. Netflix and Disney+ and Amazon Prime video all supported up to FHD and they look good on this screen 1080p maximum streaming.
- Netflix came preinstalled but wants an update and states it’s not supported. But you just need to install the Netflix APK from here and overwrite it then it loads up and works. FHD is WORKING
Update on Netflix. So confirmed Netflix works in FHD if you download an APK file and upgrade it. If you try and use Play it stats unsupported. SO it starts out as blurry SD, then once going FHD! There is an optional LTE version but it will cost you more but it doesn’t seem to be available only the Wifi model. In the EU they sell the LTE version. So stay tuned for the review in a week or so once I put this tablet through its paces. But I can tell you now it’s looking very promising, worth the 360 euro price tag if you import it. But defiantly not the absurd European price of 649 euros!

too bad the coupons were no longer valid … bought a used Samsung s5e 128GB because it was cheaper and it will fit in my nice BKB50 (Xperia Z4 Tablet) keyboard (I also thought the P11 Pro was 6.9mm thick as they say on gsmarena but it rather seems to be 5.8mm thick as Mike said ?? if yes then it would fit in my BKB50 keyboard …) … I hope the s5e is not too bad compared to the P11 Pro ??

Hi Chris, thanks for the review, today I have received the tablet from Banggood and thanks to your advice I have installed Netflix 7.87.2 from Apkmirror to watch it in HD. However I have installed Prime Video from GooglePlay and I do not get the HD logo, it only plays in SD. What version do I have to install to watch Amazon Prime Video in HD?

Hope all is well on your end.
The video triggered me to do some research and I came across a new Pipo W12 windows tablet on Banggood. The specs look great and interesting tech. Also, it seems to be a one of kind tablet from the Chinese manufacturers. I haven’t seen any other manufacturers producing snapdragon windows tablets. Technically, you could dual boot windows 10 and android, and could complete with the Lenovo P11 on paper.
Anyhow, hope it grabs your attention and is worth a review. Let me know your thoughts.

what do you think about Honor v6? About 450 $ and 410000 antutu score. Small surcharge as for xiaoxin pro and performance much higher.

Yes as mentioned in my review it’s pentile the pixel arrangement and also that it doesn’t look as hard as you would think for 1600p. But at normal viewing distances, it’s not an issue. Only looking closely you see it.

I have a non original BT keyboard for productive office use . I will try it before thinking to buy the original KB. Is the original KB BT capable ??? Or POGO connection is necessary to use the original Kb with the P11 Pro ???

The keyboard should be good, I bought one and hope to have it by the end of the week. The stylus I covered in my review it’s good but expensive 65 euros! There is a cheaper stylus here: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9QaNie which will work fine on it!

I’m not sure I’ll buy it to review, maybe but it was a much weaker SD662. But it does have quad speakers and Widevine level 1 also like the P11 Pro.

You don´t need to buy the Lenovo stylus if you have a Micosoft Surface Pen on your hand. I use a cheap chinese stylus I bought for my Alldocube Thinker some time ago. Everythink works fine, including palm rejection.

Is that my import table have a PlayStore not protect certified
So you don’t have access to Neflix and Disney plus on the playstore
Could you check on your’s ?

The app was installed, asked for an update, and states it’s not supported.
