It just recently came out, the Pipo W8. It’s another media / mini TV PC, but with a difference. It’s a dual boot, its got 4 x USB 2 ports and a bit of an oddball look. Looks like tablet screen and a TV media box in one. Powered by an Atom Z3736F, with 2GB of ram and a 32GB eMMC, pretty standard dual boot tablet specs. The screen is a 8″ 1280 x 800 one, set at a fixed angle within...[Read More]

Three new tablets to review this week, this Hi8 is the third. Here is the unboxing video. Its got exactly the same look as the Vi8 Ultimate model just released, but with a better screen. My Chuwi Vi8 Ultimate edition arrived today. Unfortunately the Hi8 has not shipped yet, so that will come later on. The Vi8 Ultimate edition is the Vi8, but with a new white look that is similar in design with the Vi10HD and Vi10 Dual OS I recently reviewed. It shares the metal trim and more squared of edges. It doesn’t have a glass back, like the vi10 but it does have it’s slightly fa...[Read More]
Chuwi have updated the Vi8 for the 3rd time now, with the release of the Chuwi Vi8 Ultimate Edition. Aiming for the best budget 8 inch dual boot it seems, gone is the Atom Z3635F 1.8Ghz, replaced with a slightly faster Atom Z3736F 2.16Ghz SoC. The housing is now similar to the Vi10 And V10HD with a glass back, metal trims making it more premium looking and Chuwi claim it’s a thin 7.9 mm. Als...[Read More]
The Chuwi Vi10 is a dual OS 10.6" tablet, powered by Intel's Z3736F Bay Trail that can boost up to 2.16Ghz and 2GB of Ram. Chuwi Vi10 dual boot arrived today, here’s the unboxing video below. Good build quality for a budget tablet, some metal trim in the design and the rear glass is a nice touch that gives it a more premium feel. The screen I was worried about, 10.6 inches at 1366 x 768 isn’t the sharpest screen in the world, it’s not that bad, but 1080p would have been so much sharper an better over...[Read More]
