My X98 Pro International version arrived yesterday, it has English preinstalled on first boot for me and you can install language packs. It’s using Windows 10 Home and it’s fully activated, so it’s not called Windows 10 Bing as previously thought.
I can report the following:
1. Same eMMC (Samsung CWBD3R) as my Chinese only Windows 10 model
2. No hardware changes, it’s a K9C3 revision and it’s still getting up to 85 degrees when gaming or pushing the CPU hard.
3. Microphone issue is fixed (Must have been software) My review has been updated.
I’ll see if I can get a hold of the dual os version or Rom once released to flash my current model. Keep an eye on the site for updates on that, or an eye on the Teclast Baidu cloud download account.

The reservation is opened until september 29. The cost of the tablet will be 349€ (european ROM and EMEA warranty). They will start shiping arround 2nd week of november. This international european version is different from the international version sold in Asia. Maybe they fixed the heat problem of Asia units? Anyway, I am very dissapointed about the prize, much more expensive 🙁

This week, I knew Teclast has a new X98 PRO international version different to the sold one from China. They closed a new International version for EU specially. So, it looks like, they will have 2 international versions. They will launch the new one on Sept 27Th and this new version has not Chinese apks, it has new apks, several new free accesories what I do not know yet, European warranty,…. I work in a media in EU and we received it. They will sell from Spain to EU (teclast.es) as I can see on teclast.com. Upon my point of view, this step from Teclast is very, very interesting for EU people. I will pay attention to teclast.es in order to see the new presale.

I just received a Windows only International (English) version. The speaker volume is absolutely feeble compared to my Air II.

I’m uploading now the X98 Pro International WInRE image now. The Android/Windows and dual boot bios files aren’t released yet.

I don’t get where to go on that link for updates, there are 2 x98 pro directories. I’ve search for a guide to make a clean install ( My tablet was already turned on, maybe to set english, dont know ) and want be sure not bloatware, spyware is installed on. I can simply format and install like a normal notebook?
