Daily Deals: EZBook 3 Pro Sells For $219 (Again)

Thanks Gaz for the heads up, the Jumper EZBook Pro 3 is selling for $219 again with the following discount codes: XMAS285 & BOOKPRO,  (working again) Not that in the Jumper EZBook 3 Pro forum almost all of the newest batch has the power limit options in the bios disabled. But a higher 7W TDP is set at least. But you can still use the software TDP override to boost performance if you want to run a 10W TDP for example.

The EZBook 3 Pro listing is here, just apply the code at checkout to get the discount.

This laptop is still the best budget notebook I’ve reviewed. I’m looking forward to reviewing the new Jumper EZBook 4 Pro with Celeron N4100 once released. I’m sure it’s in the works for next year.

  1. Oh well, I really wanted to buy;a 2018 Xiaomi Notebook Pro, but decided not to risk buying it from China, with no Indian local service capability or warranty service, here in India where I am. SO, I bought a Dell XPS 9360 on sale in the States, but in the meanwhile I ordered a Jumper EZbook 3 Pro, JUST before learning of all the problems people were having with it, and just before Chris’s positive review of the Teclast F7, a notebook I would have bought had only I had known a week later. Okay, the JEP is finally in the hands of the Indian Customs Office so it should be delivered soon. Whether I want it or not.

My questions are:. I am admittedly nowhere as sharp or educated as almost any of the posters here are regarding computers. What relatively fairly priced 256 GB SSD card can I buy and know that the most recent version of the JEP will accept? If you can describe precisely the description of a device I can trust, I would greatly appreciate it. Should I even think of trying to set up the laptop so that the device boots up from the SSD as compared to the eMMC? Should I try to attempt Chris’s heat shield modification? It didn’t look hard in his video. Is there anyway I can save the BIOS settings such that if I screw things up, I can reinstall the BIOS as JUMPER sent it to me? Thanks for any suggestions.

  2. Great prices you got that tech for. What’s the plan resell it?

    • Great prices, indeed! A work colleague recently purchased the Cube Mix Plus for £250 after I told him to check out your channel. I bought two of them for £35 each. Perhaps it was some kind of mega promotion, but boy! The same seller had a wide range of other products too, such as sat navs, clocks, battery packs, and even travel toilets. A creative chap, huh. C, I’ll drop you a line if he restocks at steal prices.

  3. Hey Chris, How about a test of this thing using an AirBar? I just learned about these things the other day and turning a super low priced notebook into a touch screen does sound interesting and as I have yet to buy one, who better to try one out?

  4. Hey Chris. I recall your comparison video where you went for the EZbook over the Chuwi Lapbook because of an extra hour of battery. That’s the only review that I found rather odd, because according to you the Chuwi offered superior screen, keyboard, touchpad etc. You can always use a battery pack or access a power point eventually, but you can’t do much about a screen, hence my confusion. Anyway, apart from that I still thoroughly enjoy your reviews. You’re the best and getting better all the time. Wishing you a happy and productive 2018. Bring on the gadgets!

    • Happy new years. You forgot one thing, major thing and that is the price. That was why when I reviewed the Lapbook Air I said it would be the best if it wasn’t for the price. It was around $369 Vs $219 or $229 the EZbook 3 Pro was selling for. And why when I concluded with the EZbook 3 Pro Vs Lapbook Air video the winner was the EZBook 3 Pro. Btw: I’m typing this on my EZB3P no issues with my unit and loving it.

      • Agreed, price matters for sure! That’s definitely a key part of the appeal of the stuff you review so well. The Lapbook 12.3 was one of about 10 units I picked up in an Ebay ‘Christmas gift’ giveaway of UK stock Chinese gadgets last week, costing just £28 to £85 each. After I placed my multiple orders and parted with my cash I began to fear that I’d been scammed, but the units all arrived within days brand new and sealed, including the Chuwi Hi10 Pro with keyboard, the Hi10 Pro Plus with keyboard, the Lapbook, Cube Mix Plus 128Gb SSD (no keyboard), etc. I even got myself an updated Hi12 and immediately realised how superior the build is to the original release; mine was badly affected by light-bleed. Chuwi has clearly given it a welcome make-over, inside and out. Oh, the seller has over 2000 positive ratings and only 18 negative, so I’ll be keeping an eye in case they have a repeat giveaway. You’re the one who made me aware of these China gadgets in the first place, and I remain grateful. Cheers again for the New Year!
