Alldocube X – 10.5″ Samsung SAMOLED Display Tablet Coming (Update)

Alldocube X – 10.5″ Samsung SAMOLED Display Tablet Coming (Update)

Update: 17th July. New real images of the tablet added, the side bezels look slimmer which is good and the price will be $219 if you’re an early backer and sign up with your email. After that, it will be $269 the standard price. Price wise this isn’t bad considering it has that SAMOLED screen, fingerprint reader, and the spec. Similar tablets sell for around the same price.

Alldocube has a new Android 8.1 tablet coming. It’s based around a fully laminated Samsung 2560 x 1600 Super AMOLED display, which supports HDR and meets the DCI-P3 standard. The tablet uses the MTK8176 hexa-core chip with PowerVR GX6250 GPU. Which isn’t a bad move as it is faster in my experience than the Helio X20 Deca-core tablets, but I would like to see more Snapdragon chips used. It has 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM with 64GB eMMC for storage. There is an AKM Hifi DAC on board so audio output so it should sound good and a fingerprint reader for added security.

The build is just 6.9mm thin and 245mm long and 179mm high. The rear is an alloy unibody. I can see a 3.5mm headphone jack and type-c port with two top firing loudspeakers. The 8000mAh battery supports MediaTek’s Pump Express 2.0 fast charging and two 8MP cameras front and back. It looks as if this is going the way of others a crowdfunded tablet as the official page mentions Indiegogo.

So it looks promising, that screen sounds like it will be one of the best ones in an Android tablet. No GPS or HDMI Output as I can’t see it in the press images mentioned on the website. No word on the starting price, but it will have a 26% discount for early backers.

  1. Widewine level 3 only. So no proper netflix caused me to not order one.

    • Very common on the Chinese tech I review. Only Huawei seems to have level 1

  2. Alldocube x tablet is 200% funded within 24 hours. visit https://goo.gl/pg5wEz

  3. when it will be available for purchase? great looking and combination of hardware make it perfect for everyone.

    • I think late September/October, well it says October shipping date.

  4. super slim, powerful battery, and AMOLED display . when it will available?

    • I signed up for email alerts on their Indiegogo page. I got an update email today that says “We’re launching our annual flagship Android 8.1 media tablet – Alldocube X on Indiegogo around early August.”.

  5. The price of this tablet will be important. specifications are very great and price should be less than $300.

  6. Alldocube X will give tough competition to Samsung Galaxy tab S4. Because of powerful features and price factor.

  7. I had just decided on the Teclast Master T10, and now this comes along…
No gps is a bummer for me, as I want to use it for boat navigation.
Does anyone have an experience with connecting external gps receivers to Android devices?

    • I have a T10 Master and must say that the screen is the best and the worst of it. Don´t beliebe averybody on Youtube. The screen is Sharp but with the pass of time some kind of ghosts blurred zones appears when seen in gray screen. Think twice before buying a T10 Master if you are worried about screen issues. This is something that even Chris G could not expect when he recommends this Teclast. I bought it beacause of this positive opinions about it but i would like to know how all this tablets perform a few months later.

      • No ghosting or greying on my Master T10.

      • I had mine for almost 8 weeks and no graying on the screen at all. I cannot afford to keep all the items I review so there wont be a follow up 1 year later type of review. But I check all I can on the unit I have, some build issue can arise or firmware changes etc that I can’t predict. Sorry you have this issue.

    • Get a used SS Tab S3 LTE. SAMOLED panel (none better), LTE, and GPS.

  8. I would be surprised if it has global LTE, or even China bands, since the specs would compete directly with the Samsung Tab S3 with LTE.

  9. wow, would like to see the pricing on that one

    • Same I hope the SAMOLED doesn’t push that price up too much. Around $220 or less would be ideal.
