Teclast X6 Pro And X4. Two New Gemini Lake 8GB RAM Tablets

Teclast X6 Pro And X4. Two New Gemini Lake 8GB RAM Tablets

Two new Teclast 2-in-1 laptops have leaked on retailer Gearbest.com. And we have very few details from those listings only that the Teclast X6 Pro has a 12.6″ screen, my guess is the 2880 x 1920 3:2 aspect ratio screen as seen in the Voyo vBook i5 I reviewed and vBook i7. This is a fully laminated panel with great colors and uses IPS or similar tech. The keyboard is a type-cover style one. I just hope it’s not the same keyboard as the Voyo vBook i5/i7 as that one was one of the worst I’ve used. The CPU is an Intel Celeron N4100 (Gemini Lake) with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 128GB SSD.

And then the cheaper version with the same 8GB of RAM, 128GB SSD, and Celeron N4100 has a smaller 11.6″ screen and I can guess this would have a 1920 x 1080 16:9 ratio screen, maybe the same panel as the Teclast F5. These tablets should have active stylus support. More details once know will be posted on the site. But great to see Teclast is pushing ahead with 8GB of RAM and not 4GB others are using. And you can see what looks like two front outwards firing speakers. Now if only they would update the Teclast F7 with N4100 + 8GB of RAM.

  1. Hi,
Be careful : offer 499 $ is without keyboard !!

  2. 8 GB of RAM is good, and it should be the minimum standard.
But 256 GB of SSD would be even better.
128 GB really sucks, and with all the recent and future price drops on SSDs, there is just no more excuse for not having 256 GB.

  3. Please, please let the X6 Pro have a backlit keyboard!

  4. Promissing! Come on Teclast, release a Laptop with the same specs the x6pro as with thin bezel, no touch and good pricing and it will be a top seller

  5. Kind of pricey, I’d rather go for the Teclast F5. Has similar specs, costs half as much and is probably lighter. Though it has a smaller 11.6″ screen and only 1 USB-C port (hello, dongle!) the weight and size make it perfect as a secondary laptop for travelling.

    • yes at this point the F5 looks better than the X4. Unless the X4 has a few tricks up its sleeves we don’t know about like full-sized ports and fingerprint reader.

      • Yup, definitely. Already pulled the trigger on the F5 a couple of days ago, just waiting for it to be shipped. 🙂

      • Hi Chris!
It seems Teclast X6 pro will be launched on 11.11 AliExpress event:
It seems to have 256Gb and a nicer Core M (instead of Apollo Lake).
        What do you think?
