The Chuwi Hipad review has been posted, it’s a $130 budget Helio X27 tablet with a decent 430 lux bright fully laminated 1920 x 1200 IPS screen. It’s got only 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. And the MediaTek Helio X27 chipset, one I’ve covered before in the Teclast T20 isn’t performing as expected. Sadly my unit has some poor performance, lag in the UI and even touch input issues. It’s either the ROM optimisation is bad, the chipset really needs 4GB of RAM or it’s throttling. Below is the review, it’s a shorter one so no timecodes. The tablet rating out of 10 can be found here.

Good review, as always. I have liked that you test Treble support, specially important in a non Snapdragon Android device.

Shame this one was a bit of a lemon. I’ve ordered the Hi9 Plus so I hope that one is better.
