Posted a few days ago on YouTube, here is the Cube iwork8 Air unboxing. It’s basically just an updated screen in the iWork8. And now called the iwork8 Air, it has a sharper 1920 x 1200 screen. The design and specs are unchanged. Atom X5 Z8300, 2GB of RAM, 32GB eMMC and Wirless N. The battery is a 3600mAh one. I’ll be back later on with more on this tablet to see how the screen resolution will affect Android gaming for example. For now, here’s the unboxing and first look video. This tablet is currently on sale here for only $83.

Got my Cube iwork8 Air from Gearbest at a very good price. The package arrived in perfectly condition, signed, unpacked, and after several days usage, here are my feelings about this little tablet.
I bought it to replace the old Apple ipad 2, which becomes unacceptable slow after several years. The iwork8 Air is very light, visually a great built quality, it is very impressive, It has a very nice screen with 1920 x 1200 resolutions gives you a crystal clear vision. After the initial setup, the start up times is pretty fast, and everything works smoothly, I use this tablet mainly for browsing or email, so for my purpose, I’m very satisfied with this deal, so I even ordered a protective case for it from Gearbest, hope this tablet can last longer enough.
The battery life is ok for me, I’m not continually using it, one charge can last 2 days more. it is true, none of them is perfect, so I go for the lowest price, and thanks to Gearbest, I got the lowest price for it.

64 bit OS is just ridiculous on a 2gb/32gb dual boot, such a waste

Which is the best out of the 8″ you mentioned ? Techlast power, Cube iwork 8 air, or Chwi 8

Chris previously compared four 8″ tablets:

None of them are perfect but it seems he regards the Chuwi as the best overall.
