Possibly one of the poorest tablets I have yet to review, the Onda v820w CH. Its review is now finally online. It took me far too long to finish this review because it was just plain painful to finish. It’s online and the first X5 Z8300 I have reviewed isn’t any faster than an Atom Z3735F! But I think and hope it’s down to Onda’s poor optimization. I clearly see why Onda ne...[Read More]
Onda’s refresh of the v820w Dual boot. So what’s changed? Not a lot, gone is the Atom Bay Trail Z3735F (1.83 Ghz) replaced with the new gen Atom Cherry Trail X5 Z8300 (1.84Ghz). Gone is dual boot Android and Windows functionality, for now it’s just Windows 10. The front camera has had a much needed a bump in megapixels moving from 0.3MP to 2MP. And the back now has a textured fin...[Read More]
The Teclast X98 Plus is the little brother of the X98 Pro I recently reviewed. It retains the 4GB of Ram, but the X5 Z8500 (2.24Ghz boost) is replaced with a X5 Z8300 (1.84Ghz boost) The Gen8 Intel HD graphics is also clocked 100Mhz lower over the X98 Pro. So it’s going to be a little slower for sure, but it’s cheaper at $199 on Banggood’s listing. Other specs remain the same as ...[Read More]
I’ve now had my Chuwi Vi10 Dual Boot for around 7 months. I thought I would post a quick video on how it’s holding up. To be honest, like most people I expected battery wear (Would it hold a full charge?), slowness to creep in and maybe the USB ports, MicroUSB charge port to be falling apart or some other damage. The usual for a cheap Chinese tablet right? Well, it seems many models mi...[Read More]

There will be many 11.11 sales on, I’ll be posting the best ones as we com...[Read More]
I found this on GearBest the other day, The Voyo A1 Ultimate, it’s an 11.6″ notebook with a hinge that doubles back 360 degrees similar to the Lenovo Yoga series. It looks identical to the Onda oBook 11 I posted about earlier, both being Yoga clones. However, this one has a larger 64GB eMMC/4GB of Ram Vs the 32GB eMMC and 2GB of Ram on the Onda. It would seem the two companies use the ...[Read More]
