The T-Bao Tbook X8S Pro is an odd combination of an Apollo Lake Celeron J3455 (10W desktop-class low-end CPU) with a last gen Nvidia 920M dedicated GPU with 2GB of DDR3 RAM. Other specs include a 128GB 22 x 80 SATA3 SSD, USB 3.0 ports, 6GB of LPDDR3 RAM, Windows 10 Home and even an SD reader. Recently I just got hold of my EZBook 3L Pro, the 14″ version of the Jumper EZBook 3 Pro and a laptop that is almost identical to the Tecalst F7 I reviewed. This one comes from the same ODM, there are only minor differences which I’ll outline below and one big difference depending on how lucky or unlucky you are. After all the reports from various users that Jumper switched to using an...[Read More]

Limiting reads to around 1...[Read More]
This is the second T-Bao laptop I’ve looked out, thanks to a few forum goers that point this one out I decided to buy this one from Geekbuying.com. However I kinda wish I didn’t, on paper, it seems okay, maybe good for some light gaming. But that dedicated Nvidia 920M with 2GB of DDR3 isn’t nearly as fast I thought it would be. Sure the CPU is very weak for a gaming laptop, the A...[Read More]
Update: I just got my EZBook 3L Pro, I can confirm it has no power limit settings in the bios and a factory set 6W limit. And I was unlucky, my unit has a TN Panel! Not matte IPS, but Matte TN, panel ID MS_0003. So it’s down to luck if you get the matte IPS panel from BOU. Software power limit unlock or setting 10W works fine. Thermals are good and the rest is exactly the same as the Teclast...[Read More]
