The Teclast X98 Plus is the little brother of the X98 Pro I recently reviewed. It retains the 4GB of Ram, but the X5 Z8500 (2.24Ghz boost) is replaced with a X5 Z8300 (1.84Ghz boost) The Gen8 Intel HD graphics is also clocked 100Mhz lower over the X98 Pro. Xiaomi were rumored to be launching the Mi Pad 2, an Atom X5 tablet today. But it turns out it’s just a 60″ 4K TV with some crazy specs. All the hype for nothing. Let the rumors keep spreading, But they are meant to be working on a dual boot tablet, cashing in on the dual boot sales I guess? I will try and keep an eye on the Chinese news site if Google translate stops playing up on me.
