The EZBook 3 Pro which is currently being tested by me ready for it’s full review next week has gone up in price at GearBest to over $300 again. However, thanks to Sportnok in the comments, using coupon EZ3PRIT lowers the price down to $219. Note that this is the same model I’m reviewing but there is a big difference, this one lacks the M.2 spare slot. So it’s not possible to expand on that 64GB eMMC 5.0 drive it has. The $219 EZBook 3 Pro deal is here, just add the coupon on checkout for the discount.
And if you want the SSD m.2 slot you’ll have to get it from the Aliexpress Official Jumper store. By the way, those asking about the eMMC used. On my unit, it’s a Toshiba eMMC 5 spec with 270MB/s reads and 70Mb/s writes. So a lot faster than the eMMC 4.4.1 drives seen in the old Atom tablets. So far it’s looking like a great Apollo Lake laptop, one of the best with only a couple of minor complaints. The screen should be a little brighter (But since it’s anti-glare it’s not a deal breaker) The USB ports should be spaced out a little more from the 3.5 and D/C jacks. And the MicroSD slot is only USB 2.0 spec, so limited to 24Mb/s max speeds. You’ll need a USB 3.0 reader to get max speeds from your cards.

This is really frustrating, as I bought one from the HK warehouse on May 14 and my order still hasn’t been shipped. GearBest has good prices, but offering product for sale when it clearly isn’t in stock rubs me the wrong way.

According to GearBest the Ezbook 3 Pro is back in stock, and my order from May 14th is apparently being shipped tomorrow (June 6th). Not happy about the wait time, but excited for the laptop – and hoping this delayed batch might include the M2 slot.
For new buyers, it doesn’t look like there are any GearBest sales on at the moment unfortunately.

I was doubtful the processor could handle the 3k touchscreen but there don’t seem to be complaints on the Chuwi Hi13 so I guess the Surbook and 12.3 will be ok.

It goes via the UK or NL, so it’s tax-free for EU. For me in Spain the priority line is tax-free.

I bought the Chuwi Lapbook 14.1 two weeks back and had to cancel the order after 10 days because they said they did not have enough units. Hopefully it will not be the same again. Hi, Trying to choose between the Jumper EZbook 3 pro or the Onda xiaoma 41. Have a real problem with a silver bezel on the jumper so swaying to the Onda. Not keen on the Chuwi either. Any further thoughts on the Onda?

I don’t find the EZBook 3 Pro bezels, but it would be better if they were black. Have you seen my Xiaoma 41 review? https://techtablets.com/onda-xiaoma-41/review/ It’s good but there are two issues, the SATA3 port ran at half the rate it should for some reason and the screen isn’t an IPS as advertised, it’s TN. Other than that it quite good. The best screen is the Chuwi Lapbook 14.1’s so far (And nice small black bezels), the best thermals and build this EZBook 3 Pro. I have a feeling the Lapbook 12.3 will have the best of all of them, the 6GB RAM, metal build, Wifi AC and great screen.

True, it will also be the most expensive one. If you don’t want to spend that much, the Lapbook 14.1 or EZBook 3 Pro. I’ll also check out the Onda Xiaoma 31 and 21. The Xiaoma 31 is just like the EZB3P, but it has Wireless AC, only 4GB RAM and fingerprint reader.

Depends on your needs. Chuwi Lapbook 14.1 for the better screen and Wireless AC. EZBook 3 Pro for more RAM and better build.
