Deals: Teclast T10 $156.99

An old one but a good one, one of my favorites the Teclast Master T10 is on sale for just $156.99. It’s got a great screen, a bright fully laminated Sharp 10.1″ 2560 x 1600 IPS screen. 4GB of RAM and a 64GB eMMC with MicroSD support. Dual-band Wifi AC and the MTK8176 Hexa Core SoC, this one is better than the Helio X27 chipset even if it has 4 fewer cores.

The build is a thin alloy unibody with dual speakers, one either side of the tablet. It has a 13MP from facing camera and 8MP rear. With an 8100 mAh battery that’s good for 9 hours if not more.

The only real downside is that it’s stuck on Android 7.0. The sale is here over at Gearbest for $156.99.

  1. Yes. I am viewing this page on a Teclast T20. The part of the touch screen on the far right doesn’t work most of the time. There’s only 1 speaker despite having openings for two (one of the openings is false?). Got ghost inputs once in a while. Once in a while whole touch screen would lock up. Rebooting doesn’t get it working again, have to leave it off for sometime. Takes forever to charge (like half day) only to get a few hours of use. It maybe becoz the laminated screen is causing touch screen issues (LCD n touch screen r fused together). But this is my first Teclast and already leaving a bad impression. I’ve had 3 Alldocube tablets and none of them have developed touch screen issues after months of use. None of them played the dirty trick like having a false opening for a none existing speaker. If the Alldocube had only one speaker it only had one opening on one side. Unlike this Teclast only appears to be stereo speakers but only one inside…

  2. Also bear in mind this tablet has serious screen issues, ghost touches galore. Mine is unusable most of the time as it randomly opens/closes windows, freezes and becomes unresponsive for no reason. Let’s also not forget that there is a large section of the screen that doesn’t register touches, just Google it as there are plenty of forums with people complaining about these very issues. It has the potential to be a great tablet if these problems are fixable with software, unfortunately no one has managed it so far. Lastly complaint of the tediously slow charging, over 6 hours with a fast charger!

    • +1 section of screen touch input no work. Occasional freeze and lock up. Takes forever to charge. And this is the newer T20 with better specs than the T10. See my previous comment on this page for further elaboration…

  4. I prefer Android 7 in this tablet because has screen mirroring, Android 8 probably not.

  5. Is there an update for at least Android 8 for this?

    • No, these tabs rarely ever get updates. It is Android 7 and will stay Android 7, that is how Teclast usually rolls. They only ever update when a serious issue/bug develops after releasing the device to the public and even then it will stay the same Android version… Chris mentioned it is stuck on Android 7 in the article.
