Cube i6: Windows, Android, Antutu and Dual OS switching

Had some time now with the Cube i6 Dual boot, here’s a couple of videos showing the Android Rom, Windows 8.1 and the OS switching from Windows to Android and back. As you can see this switching set up from within the OS is much faster than Teclast’s approach to dual os swtiching with their boot selector menu.

Unboxing and Hands on with the Cube i6 Dual Boot

Our Cube i6 arrived yesterday, it’s Cube’s answer to the Onda v919 Air 3G and the Teclast X98 Air 3G. While it may have the Z3735F Atom and not the Z3736F 1.8 Vs 2.13 Ghz, it doesn’t really make much of a difference in terms of performance. I’ll be putting the device through it’s paces and should have a full review up within 2 weeks. I decided to get this one from Gee...[Read More]

Teclast X98 Air II photos of the internal components

I came across these photos I took some time before I even started this website, it might be helpful to some that are thinking about battery mods or looking to flash the Air II. It’s basically the same as the Air 3G version just minus the 3G modem and GPS, you can see the blank space on the PCB when the modem would go. Some good views of the eMMC, Intel Z3736F soc and 512mb ram chips.

Teclast X80h Windows 8.1/10 Drivers

These are dumped directly from my Tecalst X80h Dual Boot, Windows 8.1 & Windows 10 drivers using Doubledriver. You can use doubledriver to restore the drivers more quickly, but some things like the touch driver will need to be install manually and the orientation sensor. These also work on Windows 10. Video: 4 Port OTG charging hub test on the Teclast X80H Dual OS

I’ve been requested a few times to try my OTG 4 x USB 2.0 charging hub on my Teclast X80h, I can report that it works just fine as per the below video. The best way to make sure it charges correctly is to connect it up before powering on the system in the switch position #2 This position allows for both USB hub functions and charging at the same time. Position number 1 on the switch is just ...[Read More]

Teclast X80h Dual boot review is now up

Taken a little longer than I had hoped, but I wanted to cover all aspects of this little tablet. So the Teclast X80h Dual Boot review is now finally online. PiPo announces $400 USD Core M, 4GB, 1600p Tablet

On PiPo’s weibo (28th Feb), a new tablet from them, featuring a 2560 x 1600 10’1 screen with 4GB of ram, a 64GB eMMC and a Core M CPU. What more, it has a USB 3.0 port (No mention if it’s full sized) and a keyboard dock, which looks to be the same dock from the PiPo W3/W3F. Interesting, seems all the top Chinese tablet companies are now jumping onto the Core M’s and I hope ...[Read More]
