I’ve been searching high and low for an image of the dock for the up and coming Chuwi Hi12. Finally came across this image:
Since the tablet is a large 12″ this gives Chuwi plenty of space for a large keyboard and touchpad. What I don’t understand is where is the touchpad? There looks to be none and those hinge joints look a bit odd. I wonder if this is the official keyboard or some generic dock? My guess is this is just a Bluetooth keyboard as the docking mech on the tablet itself is a 5 pin pogo port and then two inserts for the docking latches as seen below.
If anyone has found any images of the Chuwi Hi12 keyboard dock, please let me know. I’m eager to see what it will be like. Hopefully it will be a decent keyboard cover type of dock similar to a Surface 4 Type Cover?

There are snap-on keyboards available now thru alibaba. See other threads for pictures and pricing ($55-$60).
I bought a [universal 11″-12″ bluetooth keyboard case] in black leather for $32.95 from Tablet2Cases thru Amazon Market.
It suits me fine and smells just like a brandnew pair of leather shoes – which is nice 🙂

The Chuwi hi12 fits better than the 11 inch tablet shown in the picture

I hope it won’t be a Surface type cover. With 12 inches there’s no reason not to aim for true “laptopness.”
I hope it will be a true clamshell, magnetic latch, multiangle keyboard dock–in my opinion the best way to allow real tablet-to-laptop conversion. The best example I’ve seen recently is the one that comes with the recently released HP Pavilion X2 (12 inch). Simpler than Surface Book.

I take that back, I just remembered there is no kickstand, so it wouldn’t work!
Yes, that type of dock would be great. More like that X2 dock.
