There is a new mini out from Chuwi, the GT Box it looks a lot like the HiGame their expensive Mini PC with Core i7. But this one is far from being powerful, but fine for light computing needs. It’s using the Core i3 5005U, yes an older chip that is at least more powerful than the Celeron N4100 at least single core it is. The Mini PC has 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, Intel Wireless AC 3165 and room to add a 2.5″ SSD or HDD.
It’s selling for $276.99 so for this price doesn’t seem to bad for those after a small PC for light PC work. It runs Windows 10, has a gigabit LAN port, 2 x HDMI 1.4A ports for running dual monitors, USB 2.0 ports x 2, USB 3.0 x 2 and headphone and microphone jacks. All the ports are on the rear of the mini PC which is odd, at least one port up front for remotes is handy and a microphone for Cortana which is missing?
I’m going to see if I can get one sent to me for a review, any interest at least?

No way they are suddenly finding all these 4th, 5th and even 6th gen CPUs brand new, it must have been salvaged from old faulty hardwares .

It would be great if you could review it. Especially the part on how good Manjaro runs on it 😉

Sure, normally I test Linux Mint that’s the one I prefer at the moment ?

Ahh, Yea. I forgot you had changed. Before you usually tried Manjaro and since I run Arch myself currently… I guess there is a bigger chance that everything works out of the box, without the need to track down priority drivers and so, on a Ubuntu based distribution.
