The Teclast X98 Pro Review is now online after Teclast released the drivers pack for the tablet a few days ago. I decided there wasn’t enough reason to hold the review back now since I’m running the drivers Teclast have supplied themselves. I will revisit the review once I get hold of my international version that has English support. That version is meant to be sold outside of China ...[Read More]
Edit: Seems Gearbest have 60 units more on sale, but at $179.99 now. So if you missed out on the $169.99 price, $179.99 is still a pretty good deal for a 64GB Air 3G with Windows 10. — Gearbest are having the best deal yet I’ve seen on the Teclast Air 3G, this is the latest 64GB model with Windows 10. And tomorrow only they are slashing $30 of the price. It’s now $169.99 for 48 h...[Read More]
Edit: My Teclast X98 Pro Review is now online! I know many of you are waiting patiently for my Teclast X98 Pro review. Unfortunately, it’s going to be a week or so longer before my full written and rated review is online (I have ordered a X98 Pro Int’l model). I have decided it’s not entirely fair to review the tablet in it’s current state since it’s not running its f...[Read More]
I recently ordered a couple of cheap $185 X98 Air 3G’s for resale and although the Banggood listing said they were Windows 8.1 models, to my surprise both models have Windows 10 preinstalled from the factory. So Teclast stock, at least on Banggood.com is now shipping with Win 10. You can, of course, upgrade your Windows 8.1 X98 to Windows 10. But this version has the recovery as Win 10 which...[Read More]
As part of my review process, I like to test out everything I can think of and that normally includes some gaming. Let’s face it, it’s not a gaming machine. But you would be surprised what these tablet’s can run. So I test out various old and new games to see just what the X98 Pro is capable of. I ran a few games to test out just how it runs and also compared the X98 Pro to the o...[Read More]

The Teclast X98 Pro is the upgraded version of the X98 Air series, Today mine arrived in from China. It’s the Chinese version, with that annoying Windows 10 Single OS version. It’s the first Core M retina 9.7″ 4: 3 tablet and the first one to have a true dual boot Android 5.0 lollipop set up and not emulated. My unit came with Windows 10 Home China on it, it’s strictly Chinese only so I was forced to do a fresh Windows 10 install in order to get English. Not exactly off ...[Read More]
