This is an unboxing video of the Cube Mix Plus, but due to the fact I’m so familiar with the design and it’s essential an upgraded Cube i7 Book it’s almost a review. So the Mix Plus, see the addition of 64GB of SSD sta3 storage bring that to 128GB and a faster Core M3-7Y30 over the i7 Book. That’s the only real change, the other is obvious. It’s now in white and silve...[Read More]
Chuwi’s first mini PC isn’t a bad attempt, it’s the revised Atom X5 Z8350, 4GB of RAM and dual OS. Runs both Windows 10 Home and Android 5.1 which is getting a little old now. The mini PC has 3 USB ports, one of which is USB 3.0, they can all power external hard drives and that USB 3.0 port runs at proper USB 3.0 speeds. It also supports a mini remote which also has an air mouse ...[Read More]
The first of many Z8350 powered devices has been reviewed, the Cube iwork1x. Another decent tablet from Cube. Good screen, build, and performance is a slight step up from the Z8300’s. I imagine we are going to see a hell of a lot of tech with this CPU, since the Apollo Lake chips cost a good 8-10 times more. If you missed the review it was on YouTube, but you can find the written (brief) Cub...[Read More]
The new Chuwi Hi13 will run the new Celeron N3450 Apollo Lake. 14nm, with Gen9 Intel HD 500 graphics with 12 EU cores (Same as the Atom Z83X0). With a maximum turbo of 2.2Ghz, it has 4GB of DDR3 RAM and a 64GB for storage eMMC runs Windows 10 Home (For now) I sure hope they have plans for a dual OS version. Remember the Hi12 first only came with Windows 10 so hopefully there will be a larger dual ...[Read More]

While I’m still waiting for my Cube Mix Plus to arrive from Banggood (Hopefully next week) xDragonZ received his Cube Mix Plus and ran a few benchmarks. The results look impressive. Even bettering the Teclast X5 Pro with 8GB of RAM I’m currently reviewing, which should be live in a few days. A single core Geekbench 4 score of 3241 & A multicore score of 5960 is impressive. Max temp...[Read More]
The second Atom X5 Z8350 powered tablet to arrive for review, Pipo’s W1 Pro. It’s been a while since I looked at a Pipo tablet from them, the last Pipo piece of tech I reviewed was the disappointing Pipo W10 hybrid mini-pc. So this tablet is configured with Windows 10 Home for now, but I do think Pipo will later have a dual OS version of this. Other specs are the typical ones, 4GB DDR3...[Read More]

Below is the unboxing and first impressions video. I asked it be sent untouched so it came with Windows 10 Chinese, it wasn’t possible to get it in En...[Read More]
Thanks to Blackburn for letting me know for some reason the special $59 off discount on the Cube i7 Book over at Banggood is still active. seems they forgot to remove it or the sale is still ongoing? I’ve just checked and the coupon does work. Resulting in the i7 Book costing just $269, which is the cheapest anywhere I’ve seen. If you haven’t seen my review the i7 Book supports a...[Read More]

Normally it takes a w...[Read More]
Update: Thanks to JunCheng, we have some photos of where the antenna is placed at least and there is talk that it’s an eSIM. No sim slot. So this model is only relevant in China. No point selling this outside of China if it cannot read SIM’s or working with other networks other than China Mobile who partnered up with Xiaomi to offer 4GB of data a month with these Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air...[Read More]
