Update #2 I’ve finally got my hands on the new V4 revision, more on that here. Update: Thanks to Jared @NZUnicorn for confirming this. Gearbest is indeed shipping the latest version now. He just got the new model which should really be called the EZbook 3 Pro V4. One more improvement to add to the list, it has an easy access M.2 SSD hatch now like the Onda Xiaomi 31 I reviewed. So the best v...[Read More]
What’s this? Yet another Apollo Lake Celeron N3450 laptop from Jumper? The EZBook 3L Pro is now a 14″ version of of EZBook 3 Pro (Which is 13.3″) It has the same spec, 6GB RAM, N3450 CPU, Intel Wireless AC, 1080p screen and two USB 3 ports. However, the port layout is a little different and it seems to have a micro HDMI out now and not mini. The build looks the same, full metal a...[Read More]
Edit: This works on some others models (at your own risk) But my Onda Xiaoma 21 went from 160 reads and 100 writes to 250 reads and 120 writes. Big improvement yet again. Seems manufacturers are using slower speeds to either save battery or it’s just not correctly set! Again please do this at your own risk! Recommended to only try this on the newer Apollo Lakes not the old Atom’s that ...[Read More]
Jumper’s EZPad 6 is a model that came out around March this year, but with the older Atom Z8350. By that point, I had given up on reviewing any more Atom’s and quick frankly I was sick of them. Now it has been updated to the new Intel Celeron N3450 Apollo Lake (not sick of them yet!). Other than that it’s more or less the same tablet, but with a type-c port. While it has D/C cha...[Read More]
Jumper’s confusingly named EZBook 3 Plus (Should be called the EZBook Core M3) is now for preorder on Gearbest for $439. It’s certainly a little more expensive than I was hoping it would be. The EZBook 3 Plus looks like a promising Core M3 14.1″ laptop. It’s powered by the latest Core M3-7Y30, max turbo of 2.6Ghz, it’s got a more respectable 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a 128G...[Read More]
Thanks to Blackburn for this great coupon for the Xiaomi Mi M365 electric scooter, GBXMSTE will lower the price down to $379, quite a difference from the $449 I paid for mine less than two months ago. I’m still using my Mi scooter to get around town and use it daily, I’ve clocked up almost 200 kms on it so far. Love the thing. I’ll be trying to review a few more scooters if I can...[Read More]
Jumper really stepped up their game this year with the EZbook 3 Pro, It got a glowing review for its a decent keyboard, screen, great build quality and good performance. It was also one of the first with 6GB of RAM instead of the more common 4GB. However, there was one area I was disappointed. It had Wireless N and not wireless AC like other Apollo Lake laptops and tablets. So it was rated down on...[Read More]
A lot of the latest Jumper EZbook 3 Pro version 3 units are now in the hands of those that ordered around the 13th of June. It took a while to ship but confirmed that the Wireless AC chip is indeed like the others Apollo Lake laptops an Intel 3165 dual-band wireless AC chip with dual antennas. So a nice upgrade from the much slower and weaker Realtek N signal band and single antenna solution found...[Read More]
Update: 28th June. Gearbest just informed me via email that my EZBook 3 Pro Dual Band version just shipped and I have the tracking number and everything. This was ordered on the 13th, my 17th order has yet to ship so it’s first in, first served. Update: Jumper’s official store is now selling this model called the EZBook 3 Pro (version 3) with Wireless AC and SSD slot. As we know versi...[Read More]
Here’s a quick peek at the internals of the Jumper EZBook 3S. The latest of the 3 series, which a new upgraded Celeron N3450 quad-core Vs the old N3350 dual core. The copper heatsink in there does a really good job of keeping the temperatures in check only around 79 degrees max. Another positive is a full sized M.2 2280 is used, while it’s a more unknow Forsee 256GB drive speeds are ve...[Read More]
Yet another version of the EZBook 3 has been spotted on Gearbest, thanks to Ricardo. This time it’s a 14.1-inch laptop packing more punch with an Intel Core M3-7Y30 Kaby Lake, 8GB of RAM and 128GB SSD. The build looks thin like the EZBook 3 Pro, but with a larger touchpad. I hope it uses the same 14.1-inch matte IPS 1080p panel the Lapbook 14.1 has. That’s a really decent IPS panel, bri...[Read More]
This one was posted on the YouTube channel, thought I should share it here as there were comments in the forums for me to review it. It’s the revised Jumper EZBook 3, called the EZBook 3S, Gone is the Intel Celeron N3350 dual core, replaced with the N3450 quad-core (Much better for multicore performance). They also moved to 6GB of RAM like the EZBook 3 Pro and Chuwi Lapbook 12.3. The Toshiba...[Read More]
