As well as the EZPad 3 Mini, this is the other new tablet from Jumper. And this one looks interesting. It has the look of a larger Surface 3, kickstand and all. But instead of an Atom X7 Z8700, this as the X5 Z8300 and 4GB of RAM. The body is made out of aluminium and it even has a clip in magnetic type style keyboard like the Surface 3 type cover.
You get an 11.6 inch 1080p screen, Three full sized USB ports (1 is USB 3.0) and D/C jack in charging. That something we don’t see enough of in these tablets.
Gearbest has this one up in a flash sale for $219.89. And the keyboard is an extra $20.76 if ordered at the same time. I’ve already ordered one to have a look. As I’ve never covered Jumper before I have no idea what to expect. But it doesn’t look bad does it?

Buenas Chris. Voy a comprarme una tablet, y la estoy buscando de un tamaño en torno a las 12 pulgadas. Me han gustado mucho la chuwi hi12 que he visto por unos 244€ y la ezpad 5s por 214€ (ambas con los teclados).
Por los comentarios que he visto, supongo que prefieres la chuwi hi/12, quería preguntarte, ¿hay mucha diferencia entre ellas? ¿ merece la pena la chuwi?
Y otra cosa, no he visto hablar casi nada de la ezpad 5s, y eso es lo que me da miedo, si tú la has probado, me la recomendarías?

…on the other hand, you come across this category of products, basically copying Microsoft’s whole tablet product inventory and using it like “sample-products” when one is setting up a website with no content yet

Weirder thing with the above “Microsoft” product category is that it has links to TMALL which are all broken.
It seems Jumper is a Microsoft Partner, not sure yet if it manufactures anything for Microsoft, but they seem to be operating Microsoft Authorized stores in China.

The build looks pretty fab, but Chris says the screen on the Chuwi Hi12 is better. I guess you get what you pay for.

This one is tempting! I have never ordered from Gearbest. I live in Europe, does anyone know which shipping method is the best to avoid customs? I see you can get a Netherlands Post tracking number, or expedited. Does anyone know?

I’m in Spain and PostNL works out to be tax-free for me and gets by customs. Just be prepared for a wait as I don’t think anyone has stock of this unit yet.

The Hi12’s screen is much better than this 1080p panel. You have to remember it’s the screen the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 was built around and it was the best Windows tablet IPS panel when released. It’s a great display, even if you don’t like 3:2. The 2160 x 1440p panel looks sharp, even at 12 inches.
So I’m sure you’ll like the Hi12 screen better than this one. In fact I have my Hi12 here in a stand next to my monitor watching an Ep of Vikings season 3 on it 😉
