AllDoCube has upgraded the KNote I looked at a few months ago, gone is the dull 1080p IPS, now replaced with a fully laminated 2560 x 1440p 13.3″ IPS. The Celeron N3450 is also out, replaced with a Core M3-7Y30 7th Gen. Seems there is still no word from Intel on the 8th Gen Core M3-8Y30 if it’s ever coming. The RAM has also been upgraded to 8GB from 6GB and it has a 256GB SSD, not eMMC...[Read More]

Once it reaches this figure, Chuwi will upgrade the 128GB eMMC 5.1 spec storage to SATA3 spec 128GB’s which is great news. The RAM has alread...[Read More]
Thanks Gaz for the heads up, the Jumper EZBook Pro 3 is selling for $219 again with the following discount codes: XMAS285 & BOOKPRO, (working again) Not that in the Jumper EZBook 3 Pro forum almost all of the newest batch has the power limit options in the bios disabled. But a higher 7W TDP is set at least. But you can still use the software TDP override to boost performance if you want to ru...[Read More]

Intel has officially announced the new Apollo Lake successor the Gemini Lake, this new Pentium Silver and Celeron branded SoC’s are what will be powering next years new tech. More than likely we will see the new Celeron N4100 powering almost everything. As this is the direct Celeron N3450 replacement and the Pentium Silver N5000 will replace the N4200 which we rarely saw due to N3450 being t...[Read More]
This is an odd release from AllDoCube (Cube) A tablet with the name note in it, yet it doesn’t support a stylus. The screen is a fully laminated one which is great to see. Can’t get enough fully laminated displays even at 1920 x 1080 and 11.6 inches it looks great but does lack on top end brightness somewhat topping out at 270 lux (White images). The build is slim, and as a result, it ...[Read More]
One of the cons listed in my review of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro was the NVMe SSD speed was limited and capped to PCIe x 2 speeds and not x 4 which it should be, well thanks to Ferdinánd for letting me know about this bios fix that will correct the PCIe lane speed to be x4 speed. A user on the Xiaomi forums has posted a bios update that corrects this SSD speed limit and set the port to the correc...[Read More]
Chuwi just recently posted on their twitter, if they pass $100,000 mark they will be upgrading for free the CoreBook’s RAM from 6GB to 8GB putting it then inline with competitors Core M3-7Y30 tablets. The current money raised is $80,000, so 20k short but I can see them reaching this goal. I hope the next move is to make the 128GB eMMC a SATA3 SSD instead, at least like what we have in the Cu...[Read More]
