Here are some images from a teardown of the Cube i7 Stylus I did in order to upgrade the 64GB SSD. I also posted a video (below) on the best way to open up the tablet. I don’t recommend doing this unless you have experience in opening up tablets and notebooks etc. More details on the SSD upgrade here and how to open it up below. Cube i7 Stylus teardown images:

The Cube i10 is a new dual boot just released which looks to be Cubes answer to the Chuwi Vi10. It has the same 1366 x 768 screen resolution and 10.6 inch size. It also has a full sized USB port, one less than the Chuwi Vi10. Other specs include 2GB of ram, 32GB eMMC and a Z3735F CPU. The build has a metal backing and plastic around the sides. Knowing Cube, the build quality should be good. ItR...[Read More]
The rom on my Cube i7 while it is in English, lacks Google Play and China doesn’t have access to the Play store so often Google Play and Google services are simply left out and not a part of the roms build. After messing around trying to manually install Google Play on my I7 Remix, I found a quicker solution and that is to just flash an English overseas Cube i7 Remix rom that has Google Play...[Read More]
The Cube i7 Remix arrived today. It’s very similar to the Cube i7 on the outside. But very different internals, an Atom Z3635F 1.8Ghz top boost speed, 2GB single channel ram, 32GB eMMC and that custom Remix OS. That’s the same one the Remix tablet from Jide runs. It’s their OS, which is now running on other tablets and why not, it’s a nice take on Android with a better focu...[Read More]

Yes, it was just listed on sale today on JD.com and it sold out within hours. My bet is it was the Ali Express sellers and online retailers buying them all up to sell with huge mark ups. According to Cube the i7 Stylus, without the keyboard or Wacom pen, should retail for $299… Not a bad price for a Core M. Of course that’s the price in China, so it’s normal its going to sell for...[Read More]
